Barron’s AP European History 2018 8th Edition
PROS: AP European History book by Barron’s is an excellent choice when it comes to studying for your AP exam. This book provides in-depth preparation for the AP European History exam and includes two full length AP exams with all questions and detailed answers.
Thru this book you can prepare a comprehensive review of European history from Italian Renaissance and progressing to Eruope in the twenty first century.
Barron’s always puts togther questions that are slightly more difficult than you will see on the exam. This time around is no exception.
We also like the fact that you can purchace the book alone or with an optional CD-ROM and get the benefit of two additional full length AP European History Practice tests with the ability to quickly review your scores.
CONS: Obviously, like any other book there are some errors. For example, on page 168 we noticed Justice Clarence Thomas being compared with the KKK, which is more than a simple mistake, but we believe it took place in order to condense the picture on one page.
Similarly, very comprehensive material, but it failed to cover Ottoman Empire and Austro Hungarian Empire in some time periods.
Other than that, we didn’t notice anything, well worth the money and definitely great book to help you score 5 on your exam.
Princeton’s AP European History Exam 2018 Edition

You can also use this book to do last minuter revision or cramm if you are short on-time as all the concepts are summmarized so well. This a must buy if you are trying to prepare at the last minute.
CONS: In terms of actual exams and questions, we believe that Barron’s book did slightly better. You don’t get a lot of multiple choice questions. Overall, well worth the money, so go head and give it a go.
